Job Description:

This 13-week travel assignment is for a registered nurse supporting a cardiac and medical telemetry unit on 12-hour night shifts. You will care for patients with conditions including CHF, respiratory illness, GI disorders, diabetes, COVID-19, post-cardiac catheterization needs, CVA/TIA history, and total joint replacements. Responsibilities include interpreting and documenting telemetry strips each shift, caring for patients using CPAP or BiPAP, administering breathing treatments, and managing set-rate Cardizem drips. The unit uses Cerner and provides one shift of unit orientation, making recent telemetry experience, BLS, ACLS, and total joint replacement experience valuable.
