Job Description:

Join a pediatric behavioral health team in Cincinnati as a Registered Nurse supporting children and adolescents in a locked inpatient setting. On 12-hour night shifts, you will provide nursing care for acute and chronic mental health diagnoses, administer medications, complete safety checks, document in the electronic medical record, participate in admissions and discharges, attend rounds, and provide patient and family education. You will also facilitate therapeutic groups, assist with activities of daily living, engage patients in recreational activities, and provide 1:1 supervision for high-risk patients. Pediatric and psychiatric experience are required. Therapeutic Crisis Intervention training will be provided during the assignment. Every other weekend and holiday coverage is required.
