Job Description:

Join a 13-week travel assignment caring for critically ill neonates in a Level III NICU in Wilmington, North Carolina. This role supports premature infants from 22 weeks through term, including newborns with respiratory distress, persistent pulmonary hypertension, surgical needs, and therapeutic cooling requirements. You will provide care in private rooms while managing advanced respiratory support, central and arterial lines, neonatal medications, feeding therapies, phototherapy, blood products, and family education. The assignment includes day shifts, every-other-weekend coverage, and floating to appropriate patients in Mother/Baby, Labor, or Pediatrics. Contract staff may also be assigned to a storm or hurricane response team when needed.
