Job Description:

Provide acute-care nursing for adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients in Oakland, supporting assessments, care planning, medication and treatment coordination, patient and family education, documentation, and transitions of care. This travel assignment includes 12-hour day shifts, telemetry-focused work, and the opportunity to float within your scope of practice to other units or nearby campuses when census requires. A shuttle is provided when floating is requested, and travelers should be prepared for occasional schedule notice before a shift. Weekend coverage is scheduled every other weekend, with on-call needs as required.

The role calls for an active California RN license and BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications, along with telemetry experience. EKG experience is preferred.

Oakland typically offers mild, comfortable conditions with cool mornings and evenings, moderate daytime temperatures, and occasional periods of rain. Light layers and a rain jacket are useful for exploring the area.
