Job Description:

Support patients through the immediate recovery period after surgery in a PACU setting serving all age groups, including pediatric patients. This travel assignment offers rotating weekday day shifts with start times that may vary according to the surgical schedule. The role also includes overnight weekday call and occasional weekend call, providing a varied schedule for an experienced recovery room nurse. ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications are required, along with at least five years of experience in PACU.

Weather:

Expect crisp, cool conditions with a mix of cloudy and sunny days, occasional rain, and brisk air near Lake Michigan. Comfortable layers and a weather-ready jacket are useful for exploring the area.
