Job Description:

Join a 13-week travel healthcare contract in Philadelphia as an experienced laboratory professional specializing in histology. You will prepare and process tissue specimens for microscopic examination, including core biopsies, curettings, incisional biopsies, GI specimens, skin specimens, and small and large tissue samples. Responsibilities include formalin fixation, tissue processing, embedding, paraffin wax sectioning, precision microtomy, cutting blocks, and working with fatty and hard tissue. The assignment offers a consistent weekday schedule, no weekends, no call, and no floating requirement. Block scheduling may be accommodated, giving you added flexibility while you work with adolescent, adult, and geriatric specimens.
