Job Description:

This 13-week travel assignment is for an experienced Intermediate Care Registered Nurse supporting patients with complex cardiac and medical conditions. The unit commonly cares for cardiac patients, including pre- and post-cardiac catheterization, pre-CABG, chest pain, and NSTEMI cases, along with patients experiencing CHF, COPD, pneumonia, diabetes, dialysis needs, altered mental status, nephrology and hematology conditions, wounds, and occasional stroke overflow. You will manage telemetry, titrate medications such as insulin, heparin, nitroglycerin, diltiazem, and Lasix, and care for patients requiring therapies including CPAP, BiPAP, high-flow oxygen, Vapotherm, nebulizers, and chest physiotherapy. Shifts are 12-hour days with varied start times, and occasional floating to other medical-surgical areas may be required. Block scheduling may be accommodated when possible, though it is not guaranteed.
