Join a team of highly skilled Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery nurses in Pendleton, Oregon, for a 13-week travel contract. This role offers the opportunity to experience a bustling unit with approximately 340 annual deliveries, where you'll be responsible for managing routine patient care independently across diverse areas, from labor to postpartum. The workload includes monitoring fetal strips via central monitoring, titrating Pitocin and insulin drips, and supporting multi-faceted patient needs in a fast-paced environment. The unit's staffing model ensures each RN plays a vital role, often working with just one or two colleagues to deliver attentive, quality care. You'll step into an environment that values flexibility, quick thinking, and teamwork, with shifts scheduled for 12-hour nights that keep your days free for exploration or relaxation in the scenic surroundings of Pendleton.
