Job Description:

Join a specialized Oncology Progressive Care Unit (PCU) as a registered nurse on a 12-hour night shift, providing care for highly acuity patients with solid tumors, orthopedic, and thoracic cancers. This contract offers the chance to work in a 36-bed telemetry environment with a focus on infection prevention, patient safety, and managing complex infection control protocols. You will interpret dysrhythmias, manage central lines and PICC lines, and utilize advanced telemetry equipment. The role is a blend of clinical expertise and attention to detail, with opportunities to participate in patient management processes like blood product administration and high-flow oxygen therapy. The unit occasionally cares for pediatric patients, though pediatric experience is not required. The assignment combines professional challenge with a supportive team structure, all set in a welcoming city that balances work and leisure.
