Job Description:

Join a neuro-medical surgical unit where you'll be part of a skilled team managing patients with complex neurological conditions such as stroke, brain tumors, seizures, and head injuries. This role involves working 12-hour night shifts, providing essential circulation and recovery support in a 54-bed unit with semi-private rooms. Your responsibilities include titrating heparin drips based on PTT values, troubleshooting telemetry equipment, and collaborating with charge nurses and patient care techs to ensure seamless patient care. Prior neuro unit and Level 1 trauma experience are required, along with proficiency in managing high flow oxygen devices occasionally. This assignment offers an engaging chance to apply your specialized skills in a fast-paced environment, with the added opportunity to work alongside dedicated staff committed to neurology-focused care.
