Job Description:

This CVICU Registered Nurse role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a specialized cardiac unit focused on immediate post-operative care for cardiac surgery patients. As a traveler, you'll be managing adult and geriatric patients recovering from procedures such as CABG, valve surgeries, and other complex cardiac interventions. Expect to take on responsibilities including ventilator management with respiratory therapy, arterial line monitoring with Flo Trac, CRRT, IABP, Impella, and groin/radial artery care. The shift features three 12-hour days, giving you ample time to explore the local area or unwind after demanding patient care. This assignment is well-suited for experienced CVICU nurses who thrive in fast-paced, high-stakes situations and are comfortable providing one-on-one care during the critical first 12 hours post-op.
