Job Description:

Join a busy medical-surgical/telemetry unit in Charlottesville, VA, where you'll be vital in conducting clinical reviews and supporting patient care activities for a diverse patient population. Your responsibilities will include managing care for patients with conditions such as diabetes, sickle cell crises, COPD exacerbations, ESRD with pulmonary hypertension, wounds, drains, and tubes. This role is perfect for those who enjoy a fast-paced environment with varied medical diagnoses. The night shift offers 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, giving you opportunity to experience the quieter hours of the hospital while making a tangible difference in patient outcomes. The assignment spans 13 weeks with a commitment of 36 hours per week, allowing for manageable scheduling with occasional weekend blocks. Be prepared to navigate a flexible schedule with options for 36 or 48 hours, and some restrictions on time off around major holidays. Prior experience with Epic and adherence to UVAs float policies are preferred, and VA license submission is acceptable pending approval.
