Job Description:

Join a vibrant medical-surgical and telemetry unit in Omaha, Nebraska, for a 13-week travel nursing contract. As a registered nurse on this busy 20-bed unit, you will care for a diverse patient population, including orthopedic, pulmonary, sepsis, GI, cardiovascular, and psychiatric cases. The role involves working 12-hour night shifts, with the opportunity to float across various units within the facility, including neuro, trauma, and observation units. Prior experience in a large, urban hospital and proficiency with EPIC charting are required. You will also be responsible for managing drips, performing safety de-escalation, and providing care to behavioral health patients, some of whom may have underlying behavioral conditions. Expect staffing ratios of 1:5 days and 1:6 or 1:7 nights, with floating to other campuses as needed. This position offers a chance to gain experience in one of Nebraska's top hospitals while enjoying a supportive team environment.
