Job Description:

Join us for a travel healthcare contract as an ICU Registered Nurse in Metairie, LA, where you'll play a vital role in patient care across multiple ICU settings. You will be responsible for managing critically ill patients, adjusting to various ICU environments, and performing all necessary lab sticks, EKGs, and line starts. This role offers a 12-hour day shift with the opportunity to float to other units such as ED, PACU, or MS/PCU, providing a dynamic work experience. Expect to work about 36 hours weekly over a 13-week assignment, with the possibility of caring for COVID-19 and isolation patients while utilizing state-of-the-art equipment like Alaris IV Pumps, Servo ventilators, and GE Monitors. Your expertise in ACLS, BLS, CPI, and NIH certifications will be essential to thrive in this fast-paced setting.
