Job Description:

This travel assignment in the Preoperative and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) offers a chance to work in a busy surgical setting, focusing on preparing patients before surgery, monitoring them during procedures, and supervising their recovery afterward. The role involves charting with Meditech EMR and managing medication through Pyxis systems. You'll be floating between Preop, PACU, and Phase 2 Recovery, providing a variety of experiences within the surgical suite. The shift is during the day, with opportunities to participate in call rotations during weeknights and weekends, totaling 3 to 5 shifts per month. This position requires 3-5 years of relevant experience, and licensure including BLS, ACLS, and PALS is essential. The setting is fast-paced but rewarding, with a focus on seamless patient transitions from pre-op to post-op.
