Job Description:

This travel healthcare contract places you on a Tele/Cardiac unit in Bismarck, North Dakota, where you'll work 12-hour day shifts for 13 weeks. The role involves managing adult and geriatric patients with conditions such as cardiac caths, EP studies, pacers, and medical patients with cardiac histories. You'll be interpreting EKG strips, titrating common drips like Heparin, Amio, Cardizem, Nitro, Nipride, and Lasix, and troubleshooting ventilator equipment including Bipap, Cpap, and high-flow devices. The unit also features telemetry monitoring, with tech support and nurse aides helping maintain efficient patient care. This assignment offers a unique chance to work in a specialized tele/cardiac environment that emphasizes clinical independence and technical proficiency, especially in reading strips and managing complex cardiac patients in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
