Job Description:

Join our team as a registered nurse in a fast-paced medical-surgical telemetry unit in Charlottesville, VA. This contract role involves caring for a diverse patient population arriving from the Emergency Department, ICU, and various clinics. Expect to manage a wide array of medical conditions including diabetes, COPD exacerbations, ESRD, and wound care, with some nights involving a mix of routine and urgent tasks. The shift is a 12-hour overnight schedule, offering the opportunity to work every other weekend with a schedule that sometimes includes 36 or 48 hours per week. You'll be part of a team that handles 17 beds with a patient load ratio of 1:4, providing clinical support and monitoring in a setting that values flexibility and responsibility.
