Job Description:

This 16-week contract positions you in the Med Surg Float Pool, where you'll be a versatile part of the nursing team, floating across all Medical Surgical Telemetry units during night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. Expect to work a 36-hour week with flexible scheduling, including one weekend shift per week or two every other weekend. You'll need to be ready to step into different units as needed and work at least one holiday per contract. Your role involves providing patient support and performing nursing duties in an environment that encourages flexibility and adaptability. Charting will be done through EPIC, and candidates must hold an active NY RN license along with AHA BLS certification. Recent experience in acute med-surg or tele units is essential, with at least one year of U.S. work experience for non-U.S. candidates. This assignment offers an engaging opportunity to broaden your skills while working in a supportive setting that appreciates your ability to adapt on the fly.
