Job Description:

Join a specialized ICU/Telemetry unit where you will manage a variety of complex cardiac, stroke, and respiratory failure patients. As an ICU or IMC/PCU stepdown nurse, you'll be trusted to titrate drips like vasoactive medications, monitor telemetry rhythms on Phillips systems, and collaborate with a 24/7 hospitalist team. The unit’s acuity adapts to patient needs, providing a challenging yet rewarding environment with an 18-bed capacity and variable nurse-to-patient ratios. Your role will include providing basic oral care, troubleshooting ventilators and other life support devices, and assisting with vitals and patient transfers. Expect to work alongside ICU-trained charge nurses and dedicated CNAs, with the support of in-house RTs around the clock.
