Job Description:

Join this engaging night shift opportunity as a telemetry registered nurse in Lafayette, Louisiana. You will be working 12-hour overnight shifts, providing specialized care to patients with diagnoses such as chest pain, coronary artery disease, diabetes, COPD exacerbations, COVID-19, stroke, arrhythmias, and other cardiac conditions. Your role involves monitoring cardiac rhythms, managing cardiac drips not titrated for blood pressure, and supporting patients through various pre-and post-procedure stages including angiograms, angioplasties, and surgical interventions. Expect to operate advanced telemetry equipment, chest tubes, and wound vacs, while interpreting and managing dysrhythmias with your two years of acute care experience. This assignment offers a chance to refine your skills in a fast-paced environment while contributing to patient recovery and stability.
