Job Description:

This pediatric stepdown registered nurse position offers a chance to work directly with young patients experiencing complex cardiac issues. In this role, you'll supervise patient care in a setting that manages cardiac defects both pre- and post-surgery. Expect to handle trachs, vents, high flow nasal cannula treatments, and post-operative care following cardiac catheterizations and surgeries, including after CTICU procedures. Your expertise will support patients recovering from heart and lung transplants, providing critical care during a 12-hour daytime shift. This assignment is a great fit for nurses who enjoy a mix of technical skill application and collaborative teamwork, all within a vibrant pediatric care environment.
