Job Description:

Join us for a rewarding 13-week travel assignment as a Step Down Registered Nurse in Kalamazoo, Michigan. This night shift position involves caring for adult patients in a specialized step down unit focused on gen med and oncology cases. Your expertise in chemotherapy administration via IV, starting IVs, and utilizing equipment like Welch Allyn vital sign towers, sigma IV pumps, and EPIC documentation will be essential. If you have oncology or chemo experience, or hold ONCC or ONS certification (or are working towards it), you’ll find this role particularly engaging. It’s a chance to apply your skills in a supportive environment where patient ratios are typically around 1:4-6, with flexibility for higher staffing support. Expect to work every other weekend, with opportunities for scheduling preferences and floating to other med-surg areas including Adult Unit and ER as needed. The night shift runs 3 days a week, 12 hours each night from 19:00 to 07:30, offering a consistent schedule in a dynamic healthcare setting.
