Job Description:

Join a team dedicated to providing comprehensive medical care in a fast-paced environment. As a registered nurse on this unit, you will be responsible for managing a diverse patient population, from swing bed rehab cases to critical trauma patients. Your day-to-day activities include admitting, discharging, and transferring patients, titrating medications such as insulin, amiodarone, cardizem, and levophed, and working with PICC lines and ports. The role involves participating in code responses for stroke, sepsis, and cardiac emergencies, as well as floating between MedSurg and Emergency Department shifts. If you enjoy a mix of independence and collaborative care, this assignment offers a rewarding experience without the distraction of over-staffing playfulness—and a chance to truly test your skills.
