Job Description:

Join the emergency care team at North Alabama Medical Center, nestled in Florence. As an RN in the Emergency Department, you'll be providing vital support in a high-energy, fast-paced setting that handles all ages—from pediatrics to Geriatrics. This role involves a 12-hour midshift schedule (11a-11p), with a commitment of 36 hours each week over a 13-week engagement. The unit boasts 37 beds, including trauma bays and fast track rooms, making each day an opportunity to make a difference in patient outcomes. Expect to work with up-to-date MediTech electronic health records, and be prepared to float to overflow areas when needed. The ideal candidate brings ER and critical care experience, holds current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHHS certifications, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Uniform requirements include royal blue scrubs, and you'll coordinate with Nurse Managers and Directors to deliver exceptional care, all while experiencing a vibrant community that welcomes healthcare professionals with open arms.
