Job Description:

This PACU nursing contract offers a rewarding opportunity to manage postoperative recovery for a diverse patient population, including pediatrics and adults undergoing procedures such as cardiac catheterizations, bronchoscopy, IR, neurosurgery, and vascular cases. Your role involves providing phase I and phase II recovery care in a busy, well-equipped Level II Trauma Center with approximately 60-80 patients daily. You'll interpret cardiac rhythms, manage cardiac infusions, and assist with patient stabilization following procedures. Working in either the Main or East PACU—both located within the same building—your shift will be an 8-hour evening schedule, contributing to a robust team that supports each other in a fast-paced environment. Bring your experience and attention to detail to help patients transition safely from surgery to recovery in this engaging setting.
