Job Description:

Join a specialized neuro stepdown unit as a registered nurse, providing care for patients recovering from ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, post-craniotomy procedures, and other neurological conditions. This role involves titrating vasoactive drips, managing ventilated patients, and overseeing the care of stable patients with external ventricular devices and lumbar drains. Working in a newly opened unit, you'll have the chance to contribute to an evolving team focused on neuro recovery, all while experiencing the unique rhythm of this Level I trauma, teaching, and magnet designation facility. Expect 12-hour day shifts, with a schedule that offers 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment, offering plenty of opportunities to explore the local surroundings after your shifts.
