Job Description:

Join a rural community acute care hospital as a Med/Surg RN for an engaging 13-week contract. As a vital member of the nursing team, you'll work the night shift in a setting where a typical 5:1 patient ratio keeps the workload manageable. Your responsibilities will include providing direct patient care, assisting with occasional charge nurse duties, and managing pediatric admissions when needed—PALS certification is a must. Support comes from Avel tele-intensivist coverage, ensuring you have expert backup when necessary. This role offers a unique opportunity to experience rural healthcare delivery while honing your bedside skills in a supportive environment.
