Job Description:

Join us as a registered nurse in a 32-bed Progressive Care Unit situated within a reputable hospital in Shelby, NC. This role involves managing patients with a variety of diagnoses, such as CHF, dysrhythmias, stroke, abdominal illnesses, respiratory issues, and more. You'll handle patient assessments, assist with cardiac rhythm interpretation, care for chest tubes, and manage central lines and blood products. The setting offers a mix of teamwork with CNAs, a charge nurse, and support staff like RT, hospitalists, and intensivists. Expect to float within the region as needed, providing flexible and dynamic nursing work within a family-oriented unit that values collaboration and patient safety. The environment offers a chance to develop your skills in a supportive atmosphere, while working 12-hour night shifts on a schedule of 13 weeks.
