Job Description:

Join this 13-week contract in Louisville, KY, where you'll be working in a busy inpatient setting with 25 beds (reducing to 16 after renovations). As a travel healthcare professional, you'll manage general medicine and cardiology cases, with patient ratios of 1:4-6. Your duties include trach care, chest tube management, PIV starts, blood administration, NG tube feeds, PEG care, and handling drips like heparin and insulin. You'll work alongside LPNs and RNs, utilizing technology such as Cerner EMR, Plum ICU Medical pumps, and Phillips monitors. The shift is 12 hours during nights, flexible within unit needs, with weekends as needed and no on-call requirements. This assignment offers a hands-on experience in a supportive environment where your skills directly impact patient outcomes.
