Job Description:

Join a dedicated Progressive Care Unit in Hilo, Hawaii, for a 13-week travel assignment as a Registered Nurse. You'll work in a 15-bed unit that includes step-down ICU and telemetry, providing primary nursing care to patients with varying needs. Expect to perform telemetry monitoring, strip reading, blood sugar testing, and utilize Meditech charting, Pyxis medication dispensing, BIPAP, and continuous cardiac monitoring equipment. The shift typically involves 36 hours weekly, revealing a balanced schedule that allows you to enjoy the island's scenic surroundings between shifts. Be prepared to float to other hospital units such as ICU, ER, Surgical/Peds, and Medical units, adapting quickly to different patient care settings.
