Job Description:

Join the team on our Progressive Care Unit at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC, for a rewarding 13-week travel contract. As a critical component of patient stabilization and monitoring, you'll work the night shift, providing essential care to patients with neurological and trauma needs. Your responsibilities will include neuro and spinal checks, managing chest tubes and IV infusions, and ensuring the safety of patients through procedures like C-collar placement and lumbar drains. Expect to work with advanced equipment such as IV pumps, PCA pumps, and patient lifts, utilizing Cerner EMR to document care. This role offers a chance to experience a fast-paced environment where teamwork and patient focus are vital.
