Job Description:

This travel assignment as a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit offers a vibrant setting with a mix of stepdown and med-surg cases. You will manage a variety of patient types, including CVA/TIA cases requiring TPA, spinal surgeries like ACDF and laminectomy, and overflow from the stepdown unit dealing with AFIB/RVR, DKA, HTN, COPD, and post-heart cath care. The role necessitates hands-on skills in titratable IV medications, chest tube management, tracheostomy care, and monitoring with cardiac telemetry systems. Expect to work 12-hour day shifts over 13 weeks, with the opportunity to experience a welcoming, traveler-friendly environment that values your expertise and adaptability. The unit supports collaboration with in-house OT, PT, ST, and hospitalist teams, ensuring a comprehensive approach to patient management.
