Job Description:

Join a dedicated cardiac Progressive Care Unit in Winston-Salem for a rewarding 13-week contract. As a Registered Nurse specializing in cardiology, you'll manage patients with conditions such as acute coronary syndrome, heart failure, arrhythmias, and vascular diagnoses. The role involves interpreting cardiac rhythms, titrating IV medications like Diltiazem and Insulin, and supporting patients through post-procedural recovery. The unit thrives on teamwork, where your expertise helps maintain a family-like atmosphere. This assignment offers the chance to work with advanced telemetry technology and collaborate closely with hospitalists, intensivists, and supportive staff in a Level 1 Trauma Teaching Hospital. If you have at least one year of cardiology experience and are comfortable with complex medication titrations, this is a unique opportunity to hone your skills in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
