Job Description:

Join a reputable medical facility in Overland Park, Kansas, for an engaging 13-week contract as a PCU Registered Nurse. You'll work 12-hour night shifts (18:45 - 07:15), providing vital support in units such as MS/Tele, Neuro Stepdown, and Telemetry. This role offers a hands-on experience in managing complex patients with conditions like heart failure, myocardial infarction, stroke, and pulmonary issues. Expect to perform cardiac monitoring, interpret dysrhythmias, manage IV therapies, and respond to emergencies utilizing Rapid Response Teams. Occasionally, you'll float across up to five different units, offering variety and the chance to broaden your clinical skills. The environment emphasizes collaboration on diverse cases—from post-cardiac catheter care to ventilator management—making each shift both rewarding and educational.
