Job Description:

This travel assignment places you in the Heart Tower of Mission Hospital, Asheville’s premier cardiovascular unit. As a CVPCU RN, you will be responsible for caring for patients recovering from complex cardiac surgeries such as CABG, AVR, and TAVR, as well as vascular procedures like lobectomy and AAA repairs. The schedule features 12-hour night shifts for a duration of 13 weeks, offering an immersive experience in a high-acuity setting. Expect to manage epidural and chest tube systems, titrate cardiac medications, and collaborate closely with a team of skilled nurses and technicians. The role is ideal for RNs with prior CV surgery and vascular experience who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy contributing to critical patient recoveries. This assignment offers a chance to refine specialized skills in one of the region’s top hospitals, renowned for its cardiovascular care and innovative procedures.
