Job Description:

Join a dedicated team as a Registered Nurse on an oncology and trauma PCU/med-surg unit in Omaha, Nebraska. This 13-week contract offers the opportunity to work 12-hour night shifts, providing vital care to adult patients with diverse diagnoses, including oncology and trauma. The role requires demonstrating competence in IV drip titration, vent management, and hemodynamic monitoring, with a focus on thorough hourly rounding. You'll receive an intensive two-day orientation and will be supported by RN case managers, social workers, and other staff to ensure a smooth transition. A cheerful attitude and teamwork mindset are essential—after all, caring for patients is best when everyone pulls together. Chemotherapy certification is preferred but not required; however, candidates must pass a pass/fail exam during orientation. This assignment is unique in its varied patient population and the collaborative environment, giving you the chance to grow your skillset in a vibrant setting.
