Job Description:

This travel nursing opportunity places you in a high-paced Emergency Department within a Level III trauma center, where you'll be managing a diverse patient population from neonates to geriatrics. Your focus will be on responding to trauma cases, trauma codes, strokes, cardiac emergencies, behavioral health, and complex pediatric cases. Expect to perform tasks such as managing medication drips, administering blood products, setting up chest tubes and art lines, assisting with trauma and code situations, and conducting triage for various acuity levels. The role offers a chance to work with Epic EMR and be part of one of the busiest EDs in the state, handling an average of 200-250 patients daily. The shift runs 12 hours overnight, providing the opportunity for spotlights on patient stabilization and rapid response scenarios. This assignment is ideal for an experienced RN who thrives in high-acuity environments and enjoys the challenge of multi-system trauma and pediatric emergencies, all while working within a supportive team environment that values flexibility and professionalism.
