Job Description:

Join Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory, North Carolina, as a registered nurse specializing in labor and delivery. This 13-week travel contract offers the chance to work on a dedicated unit with 8 beds, focusing on GYN and labor patients, including those requiring cesarean sections. The role involves night shifts of 12 hours, from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., providing a steady rhythm and the opportunity to experience a different side of hospital life. You will utilize your two years of labor experience and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification, helping to support a busy unit that also cares for GYN patients and meets AWHONN standards for patient ratios. This assignment provides a great chance to gain diverse experience in a hospital equipped with advanced electronic health records (Cerner) and a supportive team environment.
