Job Description:

This neuro intensive care contract is tailored for experienced ICU nurses with a focus on neuro assessment and ICP monitoring. As a traveler in this role, you will manage critically ill patients with neurological diagnoses such as brain tumors, post-surgical patients, and complex spine cases. Your responsibilities include performing sterile procedures like Foley insertions and central line dressing changes, often in a simulated lab environment, and floating across ICU floors and telemetry units. The setting provides an opportunity to hone your neuro-critical skills in a top-tier, Level 1 trauma hospital that handles a high volume of complex neuro cases. The shift structure is 12-hour days, with a typical patient load of 1:2 in ICU and 4:1 in tele. This assignment is perfect for nurses eager to apply their neuro expertise in a fast-paced, specialized environment that values procedural competence and sterile technique mastery.
