Job Description:

This travel nursing assignment places you on the night shift at Aspirus Ironwood, where you'll provide care in a mixed acuity Med Surg unit with occasional ICU-level patients. Expect to manage patients independently with a focus on Med Surg needs, yet be prepared for higher acuity cases from time to time. The role involves working 12-hour night shifts, with the possibility of being floated to the MS unit if needed. You'll be part of a team that values resilience and adaptability, managing a patient ratio of 1:2 in the ICU/Med Surg environment. The contract spans 13 weeks, with guaranteed 36 hours per week, including some on-call coverage for low census periods, which contributes to your low census hours. Your responsibilities include charting in EPIC and maintaining competencies with a minimum of 2 years of Med Surg experience and comfort with occasional ICU care.
