Job Description:

Join a dedicated inpatient unit as a General Med RN, working a balanced mix of Emergency Department and Medical-Surgical responsibilities. This role involves providing frontline care on a 16-bed inpatient unit, which includes inpatient, observation, hospice, and swing bed services, as well as a 4-bed ED with three exam rooms. You'll need to be comfortable floating between units, including the Infusion Therapy Clinic for medication co-signs and relief shifts. Expect to engage in both patient assessments and delivery of treatment, while managing a variety of cases. The shift is 12 hours overnight, offering a chance to experience the unique rhythm of night shift nursing. This assignment is perfect for seasoned ED RNs with at least 2-3 years of experience who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy diverse patient encounters.
