Job Description:

Join a dedicated respiratory therapy team in a bustling children's hospital in Charlottesville, VA, where you'll work 12-hour day shifts providing specialized care in the NICU and Cardiac PICU. This contract offers a unique opportunity to apply your NICU level 4 experience and neuro diagnostics expertise in a fast-paced environment. The unit operates on a self-scheduling model, giving you some flexibility, though it doesn't guarantee specific requests. Expect every other weekend and holiday off, with a focus on delivering critical respiratory and neuro diagnostics support. This role involves working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of care for vulnerable pediatric patients. Essential certifications include RRT, BLS, and NRP, with the possibility of submission with a pending VA license and an additional state license for temporary eligibility.
