Job Description:

Join a psychiatric unit in Rapid City, SD, for a 13-week travel contract as a registered nurse. This role involves caring for adolescent and adult patients with diagnoses such as depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, and psychosis, with a focus on de-escalation and restraint techniques when necessary. You will be responsible for medication administration, assessments, wound care, vital sign monitoring, and documentation using EPIC. The setting is secure, with 24/7 security staff, cameras, and rapid response teams, making it an environment where attentiveness and calmness are key.
