Job Description:

Join Norwood Health Center as a Per Diem LTC/Psych RN and experience a role that combines flexibility with meaningful work in a psychiatric and long-term care setting. You'll be responsible for providing direct nursing care on a locked psychiatric unit and an open skilled nursing unit, with shifts that can vary between 8 and 12 hours. This assignment offers a chance to apply your expertise in managing patient needs, collaborating with a dedicated team, and sometimes floating to admissions when necessary. Expect a steady pace with a patient ratio of approximately 1:6-7, focusing on maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment. The role requires at least two shifts per month, with the opportunity to pick up weekend and holiday shifts as staffing needs arise.
