Job Description:

Join this esteemed psychiatric nursing role at a well-regarded academic medical center in Winston-Salem. Your responsibilities will include providing direct and indirect care to adult patients battling conditions like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, and suicidal ideation. You'll work 12-hour day shifts, supporting a unit with a patient census of approximately 18-20, and collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team in a patient-centered environment. Expect to manage patient de-escalation, participate in documentation, and contribute to therapeutic relationships, all while working in a facility that values dependability and teamwork. The unique setting offers a mix of inpatient psychiatric care, with some patients experiencing recent postpartum or detoxification, and provides ample opportunity to apply your psych nursing experience in a dynamic hospital setting.
