Job Description:

Join a dedicated team in a unit specializing in adolescent behavioral health, where you'll work with patients aged 14-18 facing challenges such as suicidal ideation, self-injury, bipolar disorder, and oppositional behaviors. Your role will involve applying crisis intervention skills and de-escalation techniques in a setting equipped with restraint beds, seclusion rooms, and emergency response tools. The shift consists of 12-hour night hours over a 13-week contract, providing an immersive experience in managing complex situations during quiet overnight hours. This assignment offers a chance to sharpen crisis intervention abilities while working within a supportive team that includes mental health technicians, case managers, and security staff, all committed to patient stabilization and safety.
