Job Description:

Join a specialized unit working with adolescents ranging from 10 to 13 years old, focusing on managing behavioral challenges such as impulsivity, self-harm, and sexual acting out. As a travel healthcare professional, you will provide direct support during 12-hour day shifts over a 13-week assignment, ensuring safety and stability while implementing interventions that require physical holds or seclusion when necessary. This role is a chance to engage in meaningful work in a setting that values preparedness, as you will handle IM med administrations, asthma management (once medically cleared), and utilize restraint beds and chairs. The assignment offers an opportunity to deepen your expertise in youth psychiatric care and work alongside a collaborative team, including MHTs, therapists, and security staff, in a well-equipped environment with Cerner EMR and Omnicell medication dispensing.
