Job Description:

Join the innovative Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha as a Telemetry Registered Nurse on a 13-week contract. You'll work in the state-of-the-art Innovation Design Unit (IDU), a specialized inpatient care environment where cutting-edge healthcare models, technology, and facility designs are tested and refined. Your role involves providing adult medical-surgical care in a primary nursing model, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4-5 during day shifts and 1:5-6 at night, often floating across various units including neuro, trauma, and observation. The unit features advanced tech such as virtual nursing, ambient monitoring, and real-time location systems, making this a perfect chance for tech-savvy RNs eager to be at the forefront of healthcare innovation. Expect a night shift schedule, 4x12-hour shifts weekly, working from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with weekend commitments and the need to work two of three major holidays.
