Job Description:

Join this specialized CVICU contract as a registered nurse and be part of critical cardiac care in a Level I Trauma teaching hospital. You will work 12-hour night shifts, caring for patients recovering from procedures like open hearts, aortic repairs, and managing complex diagnoses such as heart failure, sepsis, and MODS. Your expertise with advanced equipment—including ECMO, Impella, and CRRT—will be essential in providing tailored, high-level care. This role offers a unique opportunity to handle challenging cases that require precision and technical skill, often floating within the ICU, PCU, ED, or PACU to meet patient needs. Expect a focus on post-op open heart and surgical procedures, with a schedule that combines professional growth and the excitement of critical care at its finest.
