Job Description:

Join a 12-bed telemetry unit in Lafayette, LA, as a Registered Nurse specializing in MS/Tele care. This role involves working 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with a contract duration of 13 weeks. You may be called upon to join emergency response teams or relief staffing, which means staying on-site until urgent events pass. Experience with EKG and telemetry monitoring, along with familiarity with Alaris Pumps, will help you thrive in this role. Certifications in BLS and ACLS are required (ACLs preferred for charge nurses). Floating across inpatient units is part of the job, and acceptance of first-time travelers and those with less than two years' experience is encouraged. Expect to work every other weekend and holiday, with no scheduled on-call. This unique assignment offers a pop of excitement amid critical care, all while working in a vibrant Louisiana setting.
